My favorite, a Lewis’s monkeyflower on my little monkey, Finn.I finally get the shot I’m after, shooting stars nicely in focus, no dogs, but back home, editing, I notice the dead flower on top. Can’t win.

I delight in exploring the national forest near my Idaho home on foot, whether trail running, hiking, or xc skiing, with my two dogs by my side, taking photos of nature and wildlife.
