Dog Photobombs V

Trying to get caught up – there are soooo many dog photobombs in my file folders – so here are the last I’ve found from 2018 and 2019. The next “edition” of photobombs will be 2020 photos.

The original dog photobombs post is here, the second installment (sub-theme: fluffbutts) here, the third installment (sub-theme whatcha lookin’ at?) is here, and the fourth (sub-theme Mays gone by) is here.

I hope these posts make you smile!

Here’s a series of five photos from June 2018 – three photobombs, followed by one good shot of the elusive shooting star wildflowers I was trying to capture, then a final photobomb.

Sometimes I try to capture the light of the rising sun illuminating wildflowers alongside the trail. This time, though, I captured Conall wearing a sun crown.

I’ve learned from decades living with several Alaskan Malamutes that cooling their toes in “wild water” (free-flowing streams and creeks) brings out their inner puppy, giving them a case of the ZOOMS. In the next photos, Conall had just taken a drink from a stream and dashed back to the trail full of energy as I tried to photograph wildflowers.

And finally, just for grins, we ran past this carving in a downed tree that had been cut to clear a trail. Made me smile, big time.
